Station modernisation

Our aim is to ensure that travelling on the NVV runs smoothly and that all passengers feel comfortable. We have made various improvements in recent years, including

• Establishing a regular service with direct regional connections.
• Improving connections by reopening disused railway lines.
• Linking the regional and urban rail network with the RegioTram.
• Modernisation of 4,300 bus stops.
• Renovation of old station buildings.
• Creation of barrier-free access to railway stations.

The rising passenger numbers confirm the positive changes. We present some of these projects below.
