Shared Taxi (AST)

Surcharges for the Shared Taxi (AST) apply in the communities of Kassel, Waldeck-Frankenberg, Werra-Meißner, Hersfeld-Rotenburg and Schwalm-Eder - for the latter, however, only on AST journeys on routes 54, 56, 400, 405, 408, 410, 450, 490, 491 and 493 an additionally from december, 12th on also route 420.

No surcharge is needed for AST journeys in the city of Kassel as well as any routes in Schwalm-Eder not listed here

1st class

Surcharge for 1st class trains for all price brackets:

• Single journey: 2 euros (only for RB and RE)
• Weekly ticket: 11 euros (for all train types)
• Monthly ticket: 32 euros (for all train types)
• Annual ticket: 320 euros (for all train types)

IC/EC

NVV tickets are not valid on IC and ICE trains.

You can use your NVV season ticket on the following routes if you purchase a supplementary IC ticket:

• On IC trains Warburg - Kassel - Bebra
• On IC trains Kassel - Wabern - Schwalmstadt

You can purchase supplementary IC tickets at DB ticket counters as well as in the NVV customer service centres in Bad Wildungen, Eschwege, Kassel central station, Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe and Korbach.

IC stop in Wabern

Your ticket for long-distance travel is also valid for the “first and last mile”

If you travel from Homberg (Efze) or Fritzlar by bus & rail to the IC station Wabern, then your long-distance travel ticket (ICE/IC ticket) is valid from Wabern. Your BahnCard 100 is also valid on the bus or train from Fritzlar.

This applies to round trips on the following routes:

• Bus routes 400 and 450 between Fritzlar, Allee and Wabern station
• Bus route 450 between Homberg (Efze), the bus station and Wabern station
• Regional train RB39 between Fritzlar station and Wabern station
• Bus and Shared Taxi route 457 within Wabern
