Disabled Passengers
- Disabled passengers with a valid “supplementary sheet and token” for their disabled person’s pass travel free of charge.
- The validity period is printed on the supplementary sheet.
- If there is a “1KL” mark on the disabled person’s pass, it means it is also valid in 1st class.
- If there is a “B” mark on the disabled person’s pass, it means a companion can travel free of charge.
According to Section 145 ff of the 9th Social Security Code (SGB IX), disabled people with a valid supplementary sheet to their disabled person’s pass are entitled to free travel on local public transport.
